Boosting the volume after recording always raised the amount of static by ALOT and made the sound itself robotic, That has lead me to think its a hardware problem,since its a condenser USB mic my first thought is that the USB is just not providing it enough power,which is also the thought of alot of others. If it was an issue with USB power then it would likely be disconnecting frequently as the ADC is powered off the USB too. Have you tried getting up to around 1-2 inches from the mic and seeing how it does picking up your voice? My face is litteraly 2mm away from the mic when recording,so i dont think that could be the issue,and the audio quality is great by itself,problem is that its so low that you can barrely hear it without boosting the audio file post recording,which completly ruins the audio.
